Homemade Oats Seeds Granola

A super easy simple quick granola recipe which ideally can be prepared with any ingredients in hand. This can be prepared over weekend and had easily stored for over a month.

and you know a secret it can be made even without the oven check the recipe below.


Ingredients

Oats - 1 cup

Rajgeera - 1 cup

Dessicated coconut - ½ cup

Sunflower seeds / Pumpkin Seeds - ½ cup

Brown sugar - 1/4th Cup

Cardamom Pods crushed / Cinnamon powder / nutmeg powder - 1 Tbsp

Oil - 1 Tbsp

Honey - 1 Tbsp

Salt - ½ Tsp

Black Raisins - 1/4 th Cup

Chia Seeds - 2-3 Tbsps


Method

  1. In a large bowl add oats, rajgeera, desiccated coconut, sunflower seeds, brown sugar & cardamom.

  2. In a separate bowl mix together oil, honey and salt

  3. Mix that in the granola mixture and mix it well

  4. Take a large flat baking dish and transfer the mixture on to the baking tray, and bake for 15-20 min at 170-180 degrees.

  5. Make sure to keep an eye on it every 5-7 minutes to make sure it doesn't burn.

  6. Bake till golden brown, remove and let it cool completely.

  7. Add raisins and chia seeds to the granola mixture once its cooled.

  8. Store it in an airtight container and preferably in fridge taking into consideration the weather outside

  9. Can be easily had with milk/ yogurt.


Please note if you don't have an oven you can cook it in a pan or kadhai but keep stirring constantly to avoid it from burning and cook till golden brown. I


Can be stored in fridge easily upto a month
